JOB SHADOW- A SHORT-TERM EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN WHICH A STUDENT VISITS A BUSINESS OR INDUSTRY TO OBSERVE THE TASKS AND ACTIVITIES OF A SPECIFIC OCCUPATION.
CTE INTERNSHIP- ALLOWS FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF CAREER AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES WITHIN CAREER FIELD OF INTEREST. STUDENTS OBSERVE AND PARTICPATE IN DAILY OPERATIONS, AND HAVE DIRECT CONTACT WITH JOB PERSONNEL. STUDENTS WILL ALSO PERFORM VARIOUS JOB TASKS. THIS EXPERIENCE REQUIRES 135 HOURS OF INTERACTION PER SEMESTER. STUDENTS WILL RECIEVE 1 CTE CREDIT UPON COMPLETION.

- OBSERVE AND EXPERIENCE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES IN CAREER AREA OF INTEREST.
- HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN A JOB SETTING RELATED TO CAREER INTERESTS
